Once upon a time folk music was the most popular form of music in America, especially before and leading up to the “British Invasion." The Kingston Trio literally invented buying stereo LP records and at one time had no less than three hit albums in the Top 10. Peter, Paul, & Mary brought a style and flair that at the time captured a new mood of the nation. Both led the way in making American folk music, for a very special period of time, something that anyone could be a part of.
