Description:
 Originally Armistice Day commemorated the end of the First World War. This November 11 is the 100th anniversary of the events ending World War I. The program briefly discusses the reasons behind the war and why America entered it. The bulk of the program traces the actions of American soldiers and the battles they fought in late 1917 to the Armistice in 1918. The program ends with a summary of the effects on the war on the participating countries.
